| 23.11.2018 | | PELVIS DISRUPTION COURSE FINISHED |
| From 16-17. of November 2018, at the Medical Faculty University of Nis, held a course: "SURGICAL TREATMENT OF THE PELVIC DISRUPTION AND HIP FRACTURES". The course consisted of a theoretical part with lectures and discussions in the morning lessons and practical work in the field of exercising surgical skills on veritable pelvic disruptions and hip fractures, using original instruments, implants and devices as used in OR. The participants of the course had the opportunity to find out the news in this field of orthopedic surgery in theoretical part, to supplement their knowledge and to contribute in the interactive sections of the sessions to clear problematic parts. In the afternoon, each participant was obliged to perform 4 surgical interventions in pre-prepared workplaces. The number of participants was limited to 20. The course was very successful and represents a novelty for our country and the region. The major benefits of this highly successful course will be for severely injured patients.
